Chinese pensioner uses blow-up sex doll to stop speeding motorists

Forget speed bumps, a pensioner in eastern China tired of speeding motorists outside her home has invested in blow-up sex doll to slow down careless motorists.

Frustrated Lin Chen took the law into her own hands after police failed to do anything about the number of vehicles speeding past her house in Ningbo.

The 67-year-old decided to invest in the blow-up doll in a bid to slow down careless drivers by grabbing their attention.

‘There are a set of traffic lights near my house and the cars just shoot through them as fast as they can. It’s very dangerous,’ explained Chen.

‘The police aren’t interested so I bought this doll and tied it to the tree.’

She added: ‘I thought that drivers would slow down if I could give them something worth looking it.’

The unusual speed reducing method appears to be working, with police reporting a decrease in the number of accidents in the area.

‘It isn’t a method we would use, but we can’t say it isn’t working,’ said a spokesman.
